What requirements do I need to rent a vehicle?

- Valid driver's license: It should be valid for the entire rental period.
- Debit/Credit card: Some companies allow the use of debit cards, but it's often simpler with a credit card.
- Minimum age: Must be at least 21 years old to rent a car, a Young Driver Fee will be applied to drivers under 25.
- Insurance: Collision auto insurance is required to be used for all rentals. If you do not have collision auto insurance you must use our protection for an additional charge. This is mandatory.
- Security deposit: This is a hold to cover possible damages to the vehicle or to ensure payment in case you don't return the car on time or other expenses.
- Clean driving record: Some companies might check your driving record and refuse to rent to you if you have recent infractions, such as driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Residency and contact: You need to provide a residential address and a contact phone number.
- Passport or ID: For non-residents or for those renting a vehicle in a foreign country, you need to present your passport and driver's license.
